The Mizoram State Medical Council (MSMC) is the official statutory body constituted under the Mizoram Medical Council Act, 2010, and governed in accordance with the Indian Medical Council Act. As the regulatory authority for medical professionals in the State of Mizoram, MSMC is committed to maintaining high standards in medical education, professional conduct, and public health service.
Our Council serves as the cornerstone of trust between qualified medical practitioners and the people of Mizoram. We strive to ensure that every registered doctor upholds the ethical, legal, and professional standards essential to the delivery of safe and competent healthcare.

We act as the liaison between practitioners, academic institutions, and central medical authorities like the National Medical Commission (NMC).
